With a background in theatre and education, Amanda's lectures are both entertaining and informative. She has spoken at numerous libraries, schools, historical societies, cemeteries, and conferences including Forest Lawn Cemetery, the Haunted America Conference, and the historic Hull House.

Amanda published her first book in 2019--A Haunted Atlas of Western New York. Since then, she has researched topics such as Spiritualism, hauntings, cemetery symbolism, true crime, the history of "the world's oldest profession," and Victoriana. With the belief that weird history belongs to everyone, she has published over 20 books written for children, teens, and adults.
